Three men have been sentenced to five years each for their part in an armed robbery and fraud in the City of London. Mohammed Abdullahi, 19, from London WC1, Morgan Meragan, 19, from London WC1 and Assad Yarrow, 18, from London NW6, attacked and threatened to stab a man for his bank card and pin number. They were later seen on CCTV withdrawing cash from the victims account. They also went on to use his card to attempt to buy £1,000 worth of champagne in a nearby supermarket. They were tried at the Old Bailey for this and a further robbery, which was committed in the Metropolitan Police area ten days later.
